What Causes Tingling, Numbness In Fingers And Toes After Getting Facet Joint Injection?

Hi I had facet joint injections in lower back 2 days ago. I have today woke up and have been experiencing pins and needles plus numbness in my fingers and a few toes. Feel quite weak today and my pulse rate seems a little low. What might be causing this. I had wondered if it might be the steroid disbursing through my body ?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to a pinched nerve. I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the symptoms. I also recommend gentle stretching exercises for relieve.

Hope my answer was helpful. If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.
