Hello,
Your husband is experiencing tingling and numbness on the right side of the groin area. There are no lump or bumps. No pain. But tingling and numbness is increasing in frequency. His symptoms may be indicative of compression of the nerves,
autoimmune disorders, narrow spinal cord, infection affecting the nerves and spinal cord, or trauma from an injury.
Numbness or tingling in the lower back with
groin numbness can also be caused by a
herniated disk in the lower back, overweight, poor posture, etc. Medical conditions like
meralgia paresthetica (thigh nerve issue), groin
nerve irritation, cauda equina, etc. can cause similar symptoms. Capsaicin-containing cream can provide relief to the discomfort caused by numbness. Gentle stretching of the back and groin may help.
You are suggested to get your husband clinically examined by a
Urologist. Get him all required tests, nerve conduction studies, and investigations done. He will be treated accordingly with steroid injections, antibiotics,
physical therapy, surgery (if needed). He should stay away from addictions if any and his blood pressure and blood sugar level should be under control at all cost. He should lose weight if overweight.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
