What Causes Tingling Sensation All Over The Body At Night?
Hello, I ve been experiencing these symptoms for a few days, I can t sleep, my body feels tingly a lot, especially at night, and when I m quietly sitting, I notice it. I ve been taking valerian and melatonin and it still isn t helping me relax and sleep. I m worried it s high blood pressure or diabetes, but it just started a week ago and I don t seem to have most of the other symptoms listed for that.
High blood pressure is not usually associated with nerve related symptoms such as the tingling you are describing.
Neuropathy (abnormal function of the nerves) can occur with diabetes but usually with persons with a long term history of poorly controlled diabetes. If this the case for you then it is possible that it is a cause.
Neuropathy can also be due to: (1)vitamin b12 or folate deficiency (2)liver or kidney disease (3)trauma (4)exposure to toxins (5)infections (6)side effects of medications (7)some hormonal conditions (8)idiopathic-cause is not known
If it continues then you should see your doctor to determine the cause
I hope this helps
