What Causes Tingling Sensation And Roughness On Tongue While Swallowing Food?

Hello, I am having issues with my throat. From about the middle of my throat up to under my tongue feels very, very tense. I can usually feel this coming on as it starts out as a bit of a tingle and then Slowly starts to tense up to the point where it feels a bit rough to swallow, it s uncomfortable, and under my chin swells up and hangs down (like a prominent double chin) it doesn t happen everyday, but when it does, it happens on and off all day. It also sometimes cause my jaw to feel tense and my ears to hurt a little. I am just wondering what could be causing this, and what I can do to help the tension and swelling.
