What Causes Tingling Sensation During Urination After Menstruation?

My menstrual cycle ended yesterday and I am back on my contraception pill however when I go to urinate I feel a tingling sensation towards the end of urination even though my bladder is empty. Also there seems to be light streaks of blood on the toilet paper but no where else. Is it a uti, or a result of the end of menstruation?

Hi,
It can still be UTI. UTI cannot be ruled out in your case unless we do a urine microscopy. However, you may wait a day or two by drinking plenty of water to see if it subsides. Blood is most likely due to menses.
