What Causes Tingling Sensation In Fingers After Stopping Keto Diet?
hello, so i have been on this Keto diet for about a week and i stopped ever since i ve noticed this tingling numbness in my left pinky and ring finger. The symptom has been going on for 5 days and wanted to know if this is curable by going back to my regular diet
It can be due to vitamin D3 B12 or folic acid deficiencies and levels may be confirmed and replacement may be needed orally. Resuming a balanced diet with small portions, more vegetables and fruits can be a wise choice here. If problem persists, nerve conduction studies may be needed along with detailed neurological examination of upper limbs.
Wishing you a speedy recovery. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
