What Causes Tingling Sensation In Penis?

hi, i have been feeling an odd tingling sensation inside my penis. I have tried to do my own research, but most people search for tingling at the end of the penile shaft, while for me its in the middle. It isnt uncomfortable, just really odd. I recently began to work out my legs more often, so could this be an increase in blood flow to the region?

Hello Dear. I will tell you few most common causes of tingling in penis shaft.

1. Gonorrhoea
2. Chlamydia
3. Bacterial urethritis infection
4. Dermatitis
5. Diabetes mellitus
6. Prostatitis
7. Genital herpes
8. Kidney stones
9. Traumatic damage to nerves in the penis

Gonorreah, Chlamydia, Genital herpes are conditions of sexually transmitted disease. Hence it has to be ruled out first. If you are sure that you have a very less likelihood of getting STDs, then other conditions like urinary infection, diabetes etc have to be ruled out. Also by your history you have not mentioned about any obvious trauma to the penis.

Hence kindly go to a physician who will take a thorough history, do examination and do some blood tests to rule out above conditions.
