What Causes Tingling Sensation In The Collarbone When Diagnosed With Sjogren’s Disease?

I have intermittent tingling along my collarbone. It sort of burns at the same time. Doesn t last long. I was just wondering if it is something I should check out or another symptom. I have sjogren s disease, but am in very good health. I am 59, eat clean and exercise regularly. Doctor says I am the ideal patient. I just think the tingling is weird.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The sjogren syndrome is associated with variety of clinical features as dry mouth, difficulty in chewing, dry eyes with irritation and itching, but not the tingling in the collar bone. I think this to be related to over concern or anxiety, stress induced co relation of the non specific clinical finding to Sjogren disorder.Be happy and stay healthy.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
