What Causes Tingling Sensation In The Feet And Hands?

I am a 54 year old female... have had burning tongue and a metal taste in my mouth for the past three years and continue to have tingling in my feet and hands... I see a naturopath and have worked diligently on my diet for years. This is really getting to me... I absolutely never think anything sounds appetizing... I m just running through the motions... :-(

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to peripheral neuropathy.

I recommend using anti-inflammatory medication such as ibuprofen.

I also recommend consulting a neurologist for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
