Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Daughter, 44, came home from work flushed, warm, lips tingles, left hand tingles and hand clenched into fist. Applied cold compress to neck, gave water. Took sugar with meter 106. Took blood pressure 116/82. Gave her orange juice. Seems to be responding some . Didn t eat today.
She probably had a hypoglycaemia episode which may have caused the tingling and fatigue. Probably you measured glucose after she had something to eat. If it is the first time to happen you should not get worried. Keep her under observations.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
