Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

It could be carpal tunnel syndrome, since paresthesia is in hands only. Patients experience pain and paresthesia in the hand and wrist. Sometimes pain may extend to the arm and even to the shoulder, but paresthesia are felt only in the fingers. These symptoms are usually worse at night. Go for serum T3, T4 and TSH to exclude hypothyroidism.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
