What Causes Tingling Sensation In The Jaw And Tongue?

My husband is 56 years old. Has tingling in his jaw & tongue has taste like a metallic taste. His blood pressure is 137/78 left arm & 125/74 in right arm. says has slight pressure in chest area. Light headed also. Has been having head ache problems for a while. he has recently been put on Duloxetine hcl dr 60 mg cap. We don t know if this is something to do with the new med or could this be something more serious?

I would explain that these symptoms could be related to Duloxetine adverse effects.

Anyway, I would first recommend performing some blood lab tests to exclude any possible metabolic disorders (anemia or iron deficiency, thyroid gland dysfunction, etc.).

You should discuss with his doctor on these tests.
