What Causes Tingling Sensation In The Left Arm After An Electric Shock?

Hi, I was getting ready to plug in my crockpot this evening for dinner. When i reached in the back of it to grab the cord, a big spark came out and I felt a rush. 3 hours later i still is have this tingling feeling in my left arm that has went into my neck. Should I go to the ER or just take pain meds?
