What Causes Tingling Sensation In The Left Side Of The Face?
Hi,
In the past, I have noticed that the left side of my face kind of tingles when I am stressed. I am currently under stress, but noticed that my face no longer tingles, but feels hot. Not hot to the touch, but internally. I do not have any drooping of face, slurred speech or weakness. Could I still possibly be at risk of stroke?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of tingling sensation in the left side of the face which seems to be due to nerve injury such as nerve entrapment and due to stress and anxiety.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take proper rest. You should try to reduce your stress. Keep yourself hydrated. Go for physiotherapy of facial muscles and do gentle facial massage. Consult oral physician once for proper diagnosis and start treatment accordingly.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
