What Causes Tingling Sensation In The Lips And Nose?
I am having, multiple in number but limited in duration, spells. These spells are tingling in my lips and nose, significant vision change most notably in my left eye. I fell my eyes shake left to right extremely fast. I also am experiencing not necessary vertigo but more of a short circuit felling. It is more of an on/ off or snowy feeling. any thoughts.
The tingling sensation can be due to cold weather or sensitive skin. Stay away from pollutants, pollen, dust or anything that may cause any sort of allergy.
Stay in a warm comfortable area indoors/outdoors. Other factors can be peripheral nerve dysfunction (shingles or stroke). Vertigo is usually indicative of inner ear problem.
Visit ER, get physically examined, get Nerve Conduction tests & Audiometry tests done. Get your ears examined. Get evaluated& treated at the earliest.
Your treatment will depend on the severity of the disease detected. In the meantime take vitamin B6, B12, Folic acid & minerals. Stay away from addictions if any.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Nupur K, General & Family Physician
