Please advise. I m have in my upper thigh bad discomfort. It feels like I stuck my finger in a electrical socket. It feels like someone has a lit sparkler going off in my thigh. I get real needle like stings and shocks. It s all internal, there no brushing. When I press down on the thigh it feels hard and Rocky and is painful. Help please and thank you.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You may be having sciatic pain. If the nerve as damaged due to trivial trauma or bad posture then usually all these symptoms are common.

Kindly take vitamin B12 tablets which help in the healing of the nerves and growth. Also, take Neurobion forte drug for a month.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
