What Causes Tingling Sensation In Tongue And Dizziness Post Spleen Injury?

I had a fall and lacerated my spleen in 3 places approx 3 weeks ago. I was told by dr to rest. Since the accident I ve been experiencing funny tingling on my tongue and lightheadness during the day. Eating helps for awhile. Not sure if it s all related to my spleen.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your experience with tingling sensations on your tongue dizziness lightheadness following a Splenic injury i am suggesting that you have anaemia (lack of blood) due to the injury

The spleen participate to some extent as one of the organs that are involved in generating blood cells in the body as well defending the body from infection

Thus the spleen definitely is related to the above symptoms

I hope this helps Regards
