What Causes Tingling Sensation In Vagina While Urinating And Having Sex?

I'm a 20 year old female and I just recently started taking birth control. After my boyfriend and I had sex I was very sore, more than usual. At times when I would lay down I would feel a tingling sensation coming from my vagina and it would even occur while urinating. I'm not sure if its due to my hymen stretching out but that's where the pains tends to come from.
