Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a slight tingling of my left shin, but this tingling comes with a heating feeling, below the knee. There has not been an injury, or fall. Above the knee seems normal, but I can either be driving, sitting or laying and this feeling still occurs.
This kind of tingling sensations is seen with calcium or vitamin d 3 or vitamin b 12 deficiency.
So get done blood reports of calcium, vitamin D3, and vitamin B12. You may need supplements if Deficiency is there. Along with getting done one X-ray of the affected leg to rule out internal pathology.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Kaushal Bhavsar, Pulmonologist
