What Causes Tingling Sensation On Right Side Of Face And Numbness On Lips?
My husband has been experiencing no,bless and tingling on right side face. It started Monday with right side of lip numb and the last couple days it has went to his check, nose, and eye, all right sided. No problems with breathing, trouble spitting, no drooping of right side, eyes are perrla. Thought maybe Bell s palsy but no evidence of drooping when smiling.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain unilateral numbness of face can be due to disorders related to Trigeminal Nerve as it is fifth cranial nerve and supplies sensation to the face and any discrepancy in its function can cause numbness on the effected side.. Few other causes that needs to be ruled out are reduced calcium levels and transient ischemic attacks.. A Neurologist opinion is must and you can be advised to get an MRI and blood investigations can be advised for confirming the cause and treatment can be planned accordingly..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
