What Causes Tingling Sensation On The Finger Tips?

i am having tingling on the tips of fingers of my right hand, . they go numb when I sleep because I have a habit of tucking my hand under my body. otherwise no health issues, eating very healthy. all blood work normal , just prediabetic, weight 99.8 lbs ,

I do understand your pain and discomforts

As per your clinical history is concerned your problem is suspected as [carpal tunnel syndrome] so to confirm you need a physical examination by your doctor first. Tell him to check your little finger first as you will not feel any pain or numbness due to your median nerve dose not provide any sensation to it.



Secondly check whether you have problem in sensation while holding cell phone, newspaper, gripping a steering wheal or waking up during the night.



If yes then first treatment will be conservative like [wrist splinting, NSAIDS,Corticostrroids]if no response a minor surgical procedure[endoscopic method] will be performed which will solve your problem permanently.
