What Causes Tingling Sensation On The Head With Cold Sweats?
I believe I am experiencing a neurological problem. I have been having this problem where I seem to know what a person is going to say, sometimes before they decide to say it. Along with the above mentioned symptom, I have been feeling this crazy tingle in the front of my brain and when that happens, my hands and feet warm up and my entire body feels super energized. This tends to happen at night time as I lay down to sleep. Also, as I start to pass over into sleep, I sometimes get a jolt through my whole body starting at my head that jumps me awake and has me in cold sweats and hyperventilating. Does any of this sound like something or is it all in my head?
The explained assembly of symptoms narrate possible hyper secretion of brain neurotransmitters as dopamine or serotonin most likely due to underlying stress and anxiety.
However, I would recommend a primary physician evaluation for work up on clinical grounds and rule out any possible underlying issue with central nervous system if at all.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
