What Causes Tingling Sensation On The Tongue After Bee Stung?

My Husband was just stung by a Bee 3 hours ago, There is no swelling as of yet, He says he has a tingling sensation where the sting occurred ( on the tip of his tongue) but no major pain, He is a type 2 diabetic. Should I take him to the emergency room?

Hello dear, welcome to healthcare magic forum.
It is always better to start anti-allergic precautions after bee sting, rather than waiting for it to occur,as once started,it may need admission.
Also, tingling at the site may indicate begining of the reaction.
So kindly see your doctor without delay. Also its better to have a tetanus toxoid shot if you had no one recently.
Take care,Thank you.
