What Causes Tingling Sensation Throughout The Whole Body?

I'm a 25 year old male with Cystic Fibrosis. For the past few days, I've been experiencing a tingling/stinging sensation throughout my body. It started with my lower back, and now happens just about anywhere. It's very random, although I have somewhat linked it to cold sweats, rise in heart rate and rise in body temperature. But other times it happens for no apparent reason. I'll just be sitting there, doing absolutely nothing then BAM! Pins and needles start stinging me. I've consulted with my CF doctor, but this seems to be beyond their expertise. Any ideas why this is happening?
