My husband had surgery on Monday 7-24-17 to replace his morphine pump and catheter and now starting yesterday he has ringing in his ears. His BP is high but has been that way for weeks now but he has not had the ringing in his ears until a couple of days ago so I don t think it has anything to do with that.....but it could be...

yeah, you'll want to get blood pressure normal and perhaps try changing some medications before worrying about tinnitus. Then, there are many causes but mostly no cure is found.
It can be a change in the nerves in the ear. this can be from chemicals like electrolyte problems, or medications or even liver, lung, kidney problems.
It can also be an irritation of the nerve. Tumor, immune, viral, infection, or a bone that has gotten arthritis and hits a nerve.
