What Causes Tinnitus Along With Tightness In Jaw And Dizziness?

Hello, Lately I have been experiencing a whoosing in my ears, mainly my right, but also some tightening in my jaw, balance problems and last night I bent over and then when I raised up the floor was tilting and the room was spinning. I am on meds for pain for spinal stenosis, could that be a problem. I take blood pressure meds and today my pressure is 167/85. I am concerned. I am probably going to have back suregey very soon. should I let hem know?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Noted your history of whooshing sound in the ears, particularly of the right, tightening of jaw, imbalance, and vertigo.
You are a know case of spinal can a stenosis and hypertension. You will have to tell them everything.
- The most probable reason for such a problem looks to be otogenic, meaning the internal ear inflammation causing all the problems added on by the canal stenosis and so.

I would advise you the following:
MRI of the brain and ears (mastoids),
Test of blood for any general disease like thyroid, kidney functions.
Get a clinical evaluation, examination and investigations after consulting a Neurologist and get treated accordingly.
