What Causes Tinnitus And Nausea After Consuming Alcohol?
For the past 2 and 1/2 years I have had difficulty processing any alcohol, even just a drink of wine with dinner. I ve had an enlarged spleen (2x it s size), swollen glands under my clavicles, and fatique. Most annoying is the ringing or buzzing-like sound in my ears. Lately I ve had nausea, and a feeling of cold in my stomach. I thought I was allergic to something, but it s not going away no matter how I adjust my diet. A doctor ran blood tests last year, a full array and checked me for HIV, Lymphoma, and Hep, but nothing showed. Do you have any suggestions?

Hello,
It looks like you have either intolerance or allergy to alcoholic drinks. If you have ALDH2 deficiency, you may have difficulty taking & digesting alcoholic products. Alcohol may change the composition & volume of the fluid n the inner ear causing dizziness, tinnitus, headache, imbalance & may also cause hearing loss in long run.
Consult an Allergist & get tests for Allergy done & get treated. In the meantime abstain from alcoholic drinks & addictions if any. Get Ear check & Audiometry test done. You may require medications for tinnitus.
