What Causes Tinnitus While On Benicar?

I have been on benicar for years! Will or does it cause a swooshing sound in the ears? I have been experiencing terrible sounds in my ears twenty four seven!! It is driving me crazy! Could it be the benicar combined with the furosemide I take! Thanks for your reply!

Yes you are right. Benicar and Furosemide cause hearing impairment as well as tinnitus. It is the side effect, which I have seen in many patients. Please request your doctor to put you on another drugs.
