What Causes Tiny Hard Lump On The Cheek?

Hi my name is Sharon...from surrey, UK. For around 6-7 a tiny hard lump was/or is at the bottom of my cheek bone/jaw...in the middle between my mouth and ear. I have had NO dental pain or gum bleeding, I thought it may just be my glands playing up as i get very tired, also ear aches on the side on and off, however, a Dentist I saw today confirms its not gum or tooth problem, referred me to the hospital, or oral department as the lump is 6mm in size. I am worried, could it just be a cyst or nodule? (salvia gland blocked). Sorry I have just seen the screen where it shows/states a payment is required to answer my question. The £15 for unlimited Q s is good, but I just dont have the money at the moment (my eldest child 18 soon). I will leave it sorry.

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having enlarged sub mandibular lymph nodes giving this problem.
This might be due to some infection or impacted wax in the ear as you get complain of ear ache on same side.
Consult your doctor and get examined.
Ok and take care.
