What Causes Tiny Red Itchy Bumps On Feet?

Hi, this morning I woke up with my feet covered in tiny red itchy bumps.. some larger than others. I was wondering if this is related to a food allergy? I over consumed fruit this morning as well... The bumps are still itchy and its been at least 10 hours since I first noticed them.

Hello,

The following are probable causes of itchy bumps on feet:
1) Athlete's foot
2) Allergic contact dermatitis
3) Irritants exposure like poison ivy
4) Mosquito bites
5) Dishydrotic eczema
6) Scabies
7) Hand foot and mouth disease
8) Cellulitis

Treatment always depends upon the cause of the rash. For relieving the itchiness, you can take tab. Benadryl or tab. Cetirizine once daily. Please do consult a dermatologist for an accurate diagnosis and initiation of appropriate treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
