You have been taking home made fruit smoothies, after passing bowels you feel tired. You are suggested to take smoothie slowly and chew properly. Drinking smoothies too fast can cause such symptoms. Drinking smoothies help to detox and remove toxins quickly from the body thus temporary
tiredness may be felt.
It can also be due to intolerance to certain ingredients of the smoothie. Be careful what ingredients you are allergic to. It is natural to feel tired/sleepy after a big meal, carefully plan what you are going to use to make the smoothie, it should be a balance of healthy carbs, fat and protein.
Such symptoms can also arise if you do not have a good nights sleep. Doing a heavy exercise prior to eating may also cause tiredness. The food smoothie cause an
insulin response. The sugary nature of fruit causes insulin to spike even further.
Coming off of that spike will be a subsequent crash and that may cause you to feel sleepy and fatigued. Avoid taking smoothie on a regular basis, it may cause weight gain and high sugar level.
