What Causes Tiredness And Aching In The Left Side Of Chest?

Hi, My husband who is 58 years old, came home from work yesterday saying he was wiped out, really tired. Today he is shaking uncontrollably, and said he fell asleep a little while ago and work up covered in sweat. He also said he has some aching in the left side of his chest. I have tried to take him the the ER but he will not go.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you should send him to ER because the symptoms of chest pain he is having may be related to angina and it may lead to infarction. He needs to do an ECG and echocardiogram to get evaluated. Send him for evaluation as soon as possible because you will prevent complications.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
