What Causes Tiredness And Anorexia While On Medication For Parkinson S Disease?

My mother is 98 in good health ex cent for Parkinson s tremor she is taking 2 levadopa per day and her doctor has her on 4 stool softness plus a laxative daily. She has been getting her medications before breakfast which makes her so tired she don t eat. Suggestions.

If the medication has to be given with something in the stomach, you might want to consider letting her take the medication just before starting to eat or in the middle of the meal, so that the drowsy side effect would not have the time to kick in.
