What Causes Tiredness And Chest Pain When Having Mechanical Heart Valve?

I have a mechanical heart valve. I had an echo a few months ago and it checked out fine. However, for the past week I've been feeling tired and I have chest pain. The pain goes through my chest to my shoulder blade on the left side. In addition, I have the feeling of a lump in my throat. Is this anything to worry about or is it acid reflux? Also, my valve makes a strange squeaking sound when I lay on my left side. I've never heard that sound before and I've had my valve since 2007.

Dear friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

You ought to have examination and an ECHO again
Malfunctioning of the valve needs to be excluded
Incidental issues like Coronary Artery Diseases- may need consideration
The treating doctor alone can suggest further based on his assessment of the situation.

Take care
Good luck
