What Causes Tiredness And High BP While On Cozaar?
I have been on Cozar for years 50mg recently had a angigram left sift of heart came out ok. Heart Dr told me to stop the Cozar. will there be side effecs this was last thursday still take a water pill will see heart dr in two weeks. Cozaar 50 mg contains losartan that belongs to the group of antihypertensive medications known as angiotensin || receptor blockers or ARBs is used in the treatment of high blood pressure or hypertension and in the prevention of strokes, heart attacks etc by lowering the high blood pressure. But like other medications this medication has some side effects of its own. It may cause tiredness, dizziness, light headedness etc. If you take water pill or diuretic after stop taking Cozaar, then your blood pressure may become raised, as your newer drug called water pill may take a few weeks to fully take effect for controlling high blood pressure. Again, like other medications, water pill has also some side effects of its own. It also may cause tiredness, dizziness, weakness, fatigue etc. If you experience any type of side effects while taking medications for controlling high blood pressure, then you should consult your prescribing doctor first for medical help.
