What Causes Tiredness And Muscle Cramps While On Metformin?
I AM A TYPE 2 DIABETIC.. REALLY DON T UNDERSTAND THIS DISEASE. I HAVE BEEN TAKING METFORMIN AND GLYBURIDE. I KNOW MY POTASSIUM LEVEL HAS DROPPED BECAUSE OF THE CRAMPS AND CHARLIE HORSES IN MY FEET, LEGS, AND HANDS.. TIRED AND RUN DOWN. I QUIT TAKING THE METFORMIN ABOUT 5 DAYS AGO. STAYED ON GLYBURIDE. TIRED OF THE DIARRHEA FOR THE LAST 2 YRS. SUGAR IS RUNNING FROM 330 TO 375, SO I HAD ACTOS THAT I USED TO TAKE. I TOOK ONE OF THOSE, AND ALL OF A SUDDEN I HAVE MAJOR HEADACHE, CAN T WALK STRAIGHT, AND AM SWELLING IN MY STOMACH. I FEEL HORRIBLE. AM I GOING TO BE OK. I JUST CAN T HANDLE METFORMIN ANYMORE, AND I CAN T HANDLE MY SUGAR BEING THIS HIGH. MY KIDNEYS HURT. I JUST WENT TO MY DR. 4 DAYS AGO. HE NEVER LISTENS AND HE DIDN T CHANGE ANYTHING.
Ayurveda is there to help in your problem, you don't need to worry. If you switch to Ayurvedic medicine you don't need to take Metformin at all and later you can stop all Hypoglycemic drugs. You just need to focus on your lifestyle changes and dietary changes along with Ayurvedic drugs. In case you want to change your life completely and switch to Ayurvedic drugs please revert back.
Hope that helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
