What Causes Tiredness And Nasal Bleeding While On Blood Thinners?
Feel tired, no energy...bad cough, coughed and blood came out of nose. Was on blood thinners for a clot..Doctor took me off them so they can do blood test to see if I have a blood disorder...could this be the flu coming on or where I stopped the medicine

As per your query you have tiredness and nasal bleeding while on blood thinners . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like allergic reaction , injury to the nose, repeated sneezing , upper respiratory infection and medicine like blood thinners ( aspirin ) . In your case the nose bleeding is either due to infection or blood thinners you are taking . I would suggest you to not to stop taking medicine by your own , consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order test like throat swab test , viral culture test , CT scan for sinusitis , nasal endoscopy for nasal polyp . and blood test . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics , anti allergic along with anti inflammatory . Doctor may also refer you to cardiologist , who may alter the dose of blood thinners , prescribed substitute or stop it for sometime . Apply cold compresse to nose and take anti histamine like bendryl .
