General & Family Physician 's  Response
thank you for asking your concern and welcome to HCM.
i would like to ask does she wets her bed? does she breaths fast after waking up? does she sweats on waking up? does she keep quite and do not answer to questions on waking up? if answer is yes for any of the question then you should meet a pediatrician. at the same time ask about her activities to her caretaker in kindergarten. is this a recent change then see if she have nightmares every day. there may be multiple reasons for this physical or psychological or physiological. this may happen that for few short duration of sleep is physiological. in that situation no treatment is needed. imipramine like tablet can be given if symptom is of short duration for that also it will be wiser to consult your doctor.
if you feel any doubt please ask us
regards
