Hello,
Thank you for your query.

No it is not a sign of labor. However advanced pregnancy, such as yours, could take a toll on your energy levels and leave you feeling tired.

Back ache is common in pregnancy, especially in the last trimester as all the extra weight puts an added strain on your muscles.

The body is preparing for Labour and may start to release certain chemicals like prostaglandins that help with the onset of Labour. This can cause nausea and transient self limiting diarrhea.
Pain itself can cause these symptoms.

As long as you are better now, there is nothing to worry about.

Signs of labor include
-painful contractions and tightening of the uterus with regular and gradually increasing frequency
- passage of blood, a blob of mucus, or gush of fluid through your vagina
- cramps of lower back and abdomen (similar or stronger to that experienced during menstruation)

If you experience any of the following, contact you OBGYN for further advise.

In the meantime, relax, take things slow, be prepared for the hospital stay (clothes and supplies for you and your baby).
Stay well hydrated and sleep when you can. Monitor your baby's movements as well.

Hope this helps.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
Wish you good health
