What Causes Tiredness, Dizziness, Breathlessness And Chest Pain When Diagnosed With Heart Failure?

I was diagnosed with Heart failure 2 years ago at the age of 50. My EF was 30, it improved to 70 over time. I have managing well. However, I have noticed I need much more sleep than I used to. For the last week or so, I have been very busy with work and have not been able to rest like normal. I feel like my symptoms have gotten much worse as of late - tiredness, palpitations, dizziness, shortness of breath, heart pain. I have only had edema 1 time when I was diagnosed. Am I correct in thinking that because I have not been getting the normal amount of rest, my heart is weaker?

yes that might be the case. your heart is not capable enough to take long hours of hard work. avoid any physical strain or stress as it leads to decompensation. continue your medications as usual
