What Causes Tiredness, Dizziness, Neuralgia And Burning Sensation On The Tongue While On Eligen-B12?

Should I wait the entire 6 weeks after starting Eligen B12 before the doctor does labs? I m starting to feel tired with a burning tongue and more dizziness and neuralgia. I take it for pernicious anemia. Shall I just tough out the final few weeks?

Hi,

There is nothing like that patient suffers from neuralgia, dizziness from vitamin B12 use. In fact, it is used to manage nerve problems. So for burning mouth is concerned it can be from an allergic reaction to it but little chances.

I feel you may have other issues that may be causing these problems. Let me tell you: What are your age and gender, Do you suffer from any other disease like diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis etc? Are you using any drugs for any disease? And if possible send a photograph of your tongue and oral cavity so that it can be examined for any erosion and ulceration.

Kindly send your feedback so that you can be properly assessed and accordingly guided and treated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
