What Causes Tiredness, hot Sweats And Anxiety After Taking Levothyroxine For Hypothyroism?

For about 6months I have been feeling very tired, having hot sweats, mood swings, anxiety & aching legs. I went to my GP thinking I was going through menoapause but according to my FSH test & the fact that I had a hysterectomy 5 years ago I am well and truely past it. My blood tests did show & I have hypothyroidism. Two weeks ago & started on levothyroxine. In general I am feeling a bit better but I am still having terrrible hot sweats & am wondering if I should go back to the GP for further investigations? As far as I can tell hot sweats is not a normal symptom of hypothyroidism & I can not blame the medication as the sweats have been going on for at least 6 months. Thanks
