Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have little pieces of brown discharge coming out of my vagina. Almost looks like tiny pieces of flesh that are brown. My boyfriend and I have a very healthy sex life and are very active especially the past week. I also started to bleed yesterday but had my period 2 weeks ago.
This is a very common problem. The brown discharge maybe because of the remnants of menstrual blood on the endometrium. When there is a friction during the intercourse the remnants might get scrubbed off and come out as brown discharge along with normal vaginal discharge. But check out whether there is any smell or pain in the abdominal area or any burning sensation as well as rashes, which might be some other issue like a viral infection. If you're having any of the above mentioned symptoms it's time you visit a gynecologist.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sagarika Baruah, General & Family Physician
