What Causes To See Everything In Pink?

My 95 year old father-in-law is visiting for the weekend. We were outside all day yesterday fishing, riding in boat and sitting on porch. This morning he woke up and said everything is pink and sees a horseshoe shape. Should we get him to a doctor?

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello,

A reddish hue to the vision with a horseshoe shaped form is very likely to be a vitreous hemorrhage or even a retinal detachment. Yes, it is better to take him to an ophthalmologist or a retina specialist at the earliest.
