July 6th (a little over a month ago) I was at a concert, and another member of the audience (Who happened to be wearing cleats, judging by the sharp pain I felt) stepped on my foot and tripped over me during a particularly rowdy moment. My sock had some blood residue that night, but I thought little of it at the time. Now, one month later, my big toe still feels sharp pain (though only if pressure is applied to the injured area) and the nail is discolored (shades of yellow, red, black and brown). Only about 10-20 percent of the toe looks and feels normal (no pain when pressure applied, normal feeling). Is this something that should be worrying?
