What Causes Tongue Numbness, Burning Sensation In The Face And Eyes?

I have had four episodes over the last two months of the following symptoms occurring in this order: Face gets extremely hot, eyes burn and get bloodshot and tip of tongue goes numb. These symptoms last between 5 and 30 minutes. I had blood work, urine test and Ct on head done the last time this happened. I also have high blood pressure and am on meds for that. So far I have no answers on what causes the symptoms. Do you have any suggestions?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

If symptoms persist, better to consult a neurologist and plan for an MRI brain to rule out possible intracranial (inside the brain) causes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
