What Causes Tonsillitis With Shoulder Pain?

hello sir,i have tonsillitis, yesterday i met ENT specialist, the doctor said it will be cure to take one week, otherwise he suggested me to take tonsillectomy.but i have severe pain in my left hand shoulder, what is the exact problem i have? is it a serious disease?

I have gone through your query regarding tonsillitis with shoulder pain, though you are already in touch with an ENT doctor. Here your shoulder pain is important as for as complete diagnosis is concern.In cases of tonsillitis with shoulder pain directs us to think over-

1- Viral myelgia of shoulder muscles.

2- Any enlarged painful neck lymph nodes.

3- Rheumatic arthritis (very rare incidence).

Therefore please your doctor about your problems he will certainly think over above possibilities and manage as to avoid complications.
