What Causes Torn Torso Tissues While On Atorvastatin?

I took atorvastatin and now have several tears in the tissue of my torso. Now taking Praluent 75mg injections. I d like to know if the statin caused the tears. If yes, I d like to know what this condition is called and any and all information regarding it.

Hi,

It is unlikely to be due to a statin.

A statin can cause damage to muscle but torn torso muscles unlikely be due to statins.

Consult a physician and get evaluated to rule out conditions like collagen vascular diseases as they can cause similar symptoms.
