What Causes Tortuous Blood Vessels And Is A CAT Scan Necessary?

After a full head MRI (for sinuses problems) I was told that I was fine but that I had tortuous, spaghetti like blood vessels located on my left cheek causing the tenderness I was referring to. I was thinking all along that I had sinusitis. What do you make of that? My ENT doctor wants me to have a cat scan in 3 month. Is this necessary and why if everything is fine?

With your description of the blood vessels, I presume you might be having a haemangioma, Its nothing to be worried,unless it causes symptoms.So, stick to your doctors advice of revision MRI, so that he wants to study about the progress or regress..
