What Causes Tremors, Hot Flashes, Lack Of Libido While Treating Testicular Cancer?

m a 54 year old male. I have had bi-lateral testicular cancer. I have started pellet implanted in my buttocks. My doctor is trying to get 6 months out of this, but I don t think the pellets will last that long. This is my 3rd time to have the pellets, and this time at 5months my T level was 160. I have had several episodes shakes, hot flashes and no sex drive. I tries talking to my doctor, but he said it will be OK. What should I do?

Anesthesiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Hot flashes, tremors and lack of sex drive are all side effects of treatment of testicular cancer. All the symptoms would subside once the treatment gets completed.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
